The Citizen CL-S521 is a high-performance industrial direct thermal label printer designed for durability, speed, and seamless integration into demanding environments such as manufacturing, logistics, healthcare, and transportation.
Featuring Citizen’s Hi-Lift metal print mechanism, the CL-S521 ensures reliable label printing at speeds of up to 6 inches per second with quick first-label output—ideal for high-volume workflows. This rugged model supports media widths from 0.5 inch to 4 inch, including wristbands, courier labels, and specialty tags, with an extra-large roll capacity of up to 200 mm external diameter.
Equipped with USB 2.0 and Serial RS-232C interfaces as standard and optional Ethernet, Parallel, or Wi-Fi connectivity, the CL-S521 is future-proof and easily integrates with legacy and modern systems. The printer supports Cross-Emulation, enabling automatic switching between Zebra ZPL-II and Datamax emulations for flexible software compatibility.
Compact yet powerful, the Hi-Open vertical case design ensures easy media access without increasing the printer’s footprint, while the internal power supply keeps your workspace clean and clutter-free.
